This German language level is specifically designed for beginners, ideally those who have some familiarity with the fundamentals covered in Basic Level I – Everyday German (A1).
Goal:
Focusing on communication skills crucial for the business world, the curriculum is structured around ten thematic chapters from the book for level I recommended for this level by the Goethe Institute. However, it is also possible to learn without the book, although we strongly recommend going by it for a systematic approach in learning.
What fluency level will I achieve after completion of this level:
Students will actively develop these skills through practical role-playing scenarios, simulating real-world workplace situations. To solidify understanding and enhance fluency, each topic is accompanied by engaging exercises aimed at refining written, spoken, and listening skills within a formal context.
The course content encompasses everyday work scenarios such as the followinng:
- Self-introductions
- Navigating a new company
- Participating in daily work conversations
- Handling company visits and presentations
- Responding to formal invitations
- Understanding the nuances of the first day at work, and discussing various professions and job responsibilities.
Furthermore, the level delves into conversations about different departments and their functions, preparing and delivering effective company presentations, and other related topics. Accompanying audio tracks provide valuable pronunciation guidance and contribute to a more complete and accurate learning experience.
